Ask Ezrah
What it is
Ezrah is Brickwise's AI assistant. The Ask Ezrah panel, on a property's detail page, is a free-text Q&A: ask about mortgage, BRRRR, or STR scenarios for that property and Ezrah runs the same calculators the forms above use to answer — it never guesses a number.
Why / when you'd use it
Use it for questions that don't map to a single form field — "what's my cash flow at 25% down and 7% interest?", "is my DSCR healthy for a lender?", "how does this compare with a 15-year loan instead of 30?" — without manually re-running the Underwriting panel for every variation.
Asking a question
- Type your question in the box at the bottom of the Ask Ezrah panel — for example, "What's my DSCR and is it healthy for a lender?"
- Select Ask.
Ezrah's answer appears in the transcript, with every substantive claim labeled so you know how much to trust it:
- VERIFIED FACT — looked up from data already on file
- CALCULATED RESULT — computed live by one of Brickwise's calculators
- ESTIMATE — an approximation Ezrah is offering because no tool covers it, always stated explicitly
- AI INTERPRETATION — Ezrah's own judgment or synthesis, not a fact or a calculation
See the Glossary for more on what each label means.

Seeing what Ezrah actually calculated
Each answer has a Show calculations used (N) toggle. Selecting it reveals the exact tool calls Ezrah made — which calculator, what inputs, and the raw result — so you can verify the numbers yourself rather than take them on faith.

This view shows raw data (tool names and JSON), which is more technical than the rest of the app — it's meant as a transparency and trust feature for anyone who wants to check the work, not something you need to read to use Ezrah's answer.
What Ezrah can't do here
Ezrah answers using only tools scoped to this property — its units, saved scenarios, and (if a deal exists for it) deal-level data like due diligence findings and contacts. If a question can't be answered with an available tool, Ezrah says so rather than estimating. See Limits & Expectations for the full picture of what Ezrah will and won't do.
